Custom Made Sponge Rubber Extrusions
Rubber extrusions make for popular covers when finishing products such as furnishings, equipment and decorative trimming, as well as sealing and controlling noise and vibration. With so many different application uses, no one size fits all and we create custom made sponge extrusions for even the most demanding of projects.
We can make extrusions in a wide range of densities and hardnesses as well bespoke shapes and sizes for all manner of applications using EPDM or Neoprene Sponge, depending which material is best suited to your requirements.
EDPM Sponge
EPDM (also known as Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is an expanded closed cell sponge. Its versatility ensures that it's resistant to UV and weathering and has high ageing stability. Due to its closed cell structure it is entirely water and air resistant. An incredibly flexible and resistant sponge rubber that we're able to develop in a wide range of densities, sizes, rolls, blocks, sheets which can all be applied with a self-adhesive, if required.
Neoprene Sponge
Our Neoprene Sponge Rubbers combine strength and durability with optimum resistance to ageing, weathering, UV and ozone. Neoprene is closed cell, flame retardant and made from a synthetic, polymerised chloroprene rubber.
We can also bond our rubber extrusions with adhesive backing as pictured above. This shaped tube foam has been backed with a high performance heat-activated acrylic tape to help when mounting, bonding and joining to varying materials.
